National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said on Monday that Tehran and Islamabad would be able to cope with common challenges that the two countries were facing, with collective efforts.
Talking to IRNA news agency, he said that Iran was a big country in Asia and an extremely important neighbor of Pakistan. He added that he had regular meetings with Iran’s Majlis (parliament’s) Speaker Ali Larijani and said, “We interact and try to increase the relationship between the two parliaments and strengthen bilateral ties.”
He said that the recent visit of Pakistan’s National Security Adviser Nasser Khan Janjua to Iran was extremely important. He also appreciated Larijani for inviting him to visit Tehran and said that he would try to plan the visit in coming months.
