VIENNA: Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Senator Kamran Michael on Wednesday emphasized on effective legislation on human rights.
While talking to the representatives of civil society and NGOs, the minister said that Pakistan is unfortunately included in those countries of the world, where childhood has not been free from corporal punishment.
He regretted that children are often subjected to violence and physical punishment during schooling and training. While talking to representatives of civil society in Vienna, he said that he strongly believes in effective legislation for human rights.
