HYDERABAD: The cleanliness drive of the sanitary workers of Hyderabad Metropolitan Corporation continued under Rangers’ supervision on the third consecutive day on Saturday.
Workers lifted the dumped garbage from around Liaquat University Hospital, Pathan Colony, Market Tower, Millatabad, Tilak Incline, Faujdari Road, Risala Road, Station Road and other populated localities. Heavy machinery has been utilised for disposing garbage to the outskirts of Hyderabad.
According to officials, the campaign – which started on the directives of the Sindh Rangers Director General (DG) Major General Bilal Akbar – would continue without break even on Sunday until health and sanitation conditions are complete restored in the city’s urban localities.
